HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

On February 14, the day of love and friendship is celebrated in the United States and the Anglo-Saxon countries.

A tradition that comes from the year 270 AD. when the Emperor Claudius II ruled Rome, he forbade the marriages of young people because, according to him, young unmarried men without families were the best men for war. Then, Valentine was a priest of the third century who exercised in Rome and challenged the Emperor and married them secretly to lovers and that’s why Valentine became the patron of February 14.

The Emperor imprisoned him and an officer wanted to put him to the test because he had a daughter named Julia who was blind and asked him to heal him and Valentin returned his sight and still Claudius II executed him.

Subsequently, Julia, every February 14 delivered in the tomb of Valentine pink roses on an almond plant, from here the feast of St. Valentine is born.

This celebration is celebrated with the delivery of chocolates, delivery of sweets, delivery of jewelry, and mainly delivery of red roses, this year will be delivered 200,000,000 million roses and 900,000,000 cards.
